No courtesy car available, made logistics a challenge for me.
The Service was brilliant, no problems there, however, the three weeks plus to get an appointment was disappointing.

Overall I received excellent service. The only downside was that I had to return twice to have a faulty alarm sensor replaced and just wait for it to go off again.

When booking my car in for the MOT two hour slots were identified and I delivered my car in good time, however the MOT check ( I was not booked in for a service) took a little over this time. I would prefer BMW to provide more timely slots.
The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. For example I was hoping to upgrade my car for apple CarPlay, I had received a price for vehicle upgrade from another service station however Solihull knew and couldadvise that this wasn't possible

The wait service was on time and without issue.Sytner Solihull waiting facilities need improving. A better selection of refreshments better access to power points and much, much better wifi.

The vehicle was not ready when promised (45 minutes late) and only one of two activities were performed (they missed the oil check which I requested as the oil level was indicating low just one week after an oil service!).

Interior of car was very dirty ( polishing dust/residue) and scratch on rear bumper which was not there prior to work being carried out
You reminded me of my MOT, booked me in, I turned up and there is no fuss, waiting around or heavy selling. Looked after my car as I was away with work for 2 days and ready on my return. No fuss, no hassle and new app is useful.

1: I wanted my scuffed alloy repairing. I was told to bring the car in for it to be looked at. On arrival at Sytner I was told the alloy could be repair on my visit. Annoying! 2: I was not offered a courtesy vehicle when the car service was booked in
I was given a curtesy car for the day as my car was in for a service. I was not shown around the curtesy car but was told it was exactly the same as a BMW (which it clearly isn't) and the guy just walked off and left me to it.

Unable to trace cause of slight short-lived squeak from brakes after vehicle has stood for a time. I am advised it is believed to possibly be rear brakes sticking briefly & is not to be worried about.

I ran into one major issue when picking my new vehicle up. This involved damage to my new car
The salesman Jon explained all my options with ref. to the purchase. He then went out of his way to arrange a test drive loaning a vehicle from another dealership. I was kept updated during delivery and car was immaculate upon collection.
I have given 5*s because I'm overwhelmed with the effort James Bowring had taken finding us this car. When I approached James and explained exactly what I wanted and the maximum budget I had he came up with a car I could of only dreamed of owning.
