Work done with no hassel
Sadly , the spare key for our chosen vehicle was missing . This was resolved within a few days as our sales executive Guy Beckett organised a replacement. Perhaps this could have been checked before the vehicle was put up for sale.
They carried out recall work on the steering, nice and quick, but found out at my following MOT that they buckled one of the wheels

I bought my car in months ago as I thought I heard a strange sound but I was told it was nothing - only for my fuel injector to go weeks later, now after a full check - only 5 days later my brake pads have gone!

I had to return to the garage a 2nd time to have the computer updated following full annual service & MOT as red service light was now coming on. During my service & 2nd visit I asked for a quote on a paint job - still have not received anything !!
Did everything that was asked car was checked and small items of concern dealt with very professional.
Man that booked my car in 'hadn't got a clue' if the new 1series had arrived... I asked also is the notability section still over there 'not sure to be fair'. Also had mot/service but the light on my dashboard is still on
I was told the car would be cleaned as part of the service, which cost £260 and it wasn't! Disappointing
Full valet completed, carpets still damp - Musty smell after a couple of days. Car required full open door airing, during warm weather!
Overall sytners is great dealership if wanted another bmw I would definitely go back only criticism I have got it was a bad hand over on the car I bought as I know this from personal experience as my father had a bmw dealership in hungerford
My car was returned with a scratch.
They stated that the car would washed, however the car had water marks and none of the glass had been cleaned, really disappointed.

I walked into my local BMW Sytner Solihull having already bought the new M4 CS in my mind (even slipped in the conversation to my wife saying... 'my car' when speaking about it) and walked out without the sale!?! How can he get it so wrong?

The Z4 hood pump failed in 2016 after working since 2006. The costly replacement failed after just 3 years. Though out of warranty I had hoped for some goodwill towards the cost of another replacement after such a short time but none was forthcoming.
The BMW services has always been diligent and perspicacious towards the needs to the customer/s and it has always been a pleasant experience. Ravi, who was handling my car was very helpful and brought my car up to the showroom door as it was raining.

Two issue, I reported a headlight failure when booking the car in. The car was kept in the garage overnight because they didn't have the appropriate bulb ! When I picked up the car it had been cleaned but the passenger seat was soaking wet and too 24
Took a bit longer than expected which was not a problem in this case but might have been on another occasion. Also my booking was for 3pm but had been entered as 9am and was only corrected when I called in to Sytner the day before.

Had the recall from BMW. dropped my latest 5 series at 10.00am.They called me back at 1.15 all completed, changed part needed .At 2.00 called for car nicely washed.BEAT THAT.!! Well done.
Can't fault them. They keep you updated in person if you are waiting and by phone, text or verbally, if you leave the car with them.

Ryan initially told me there was a build up of soot in the intake manifold he initally advised this was due to soot and has since back tracked and changed his words.
Booked vehicle in on line for a pre holiday seasonal health check. I was surprised not to receive a printed summary of the Vehicle Health Check nor a VHC Video. I did however receive verbal reassurance that all was well.
The issue with the gearbox was resolved quickly, to my satisfaction and the car was returned on time, and clean! This was appreciated.
Felt waiting for 2 hours was too long for just a brake fluid change.
One of the issues the car was in for was a rattle. I had already diagnosed the issue and relayed this to the service advisor. However the technician didn't use this info and subsequently failed to rectify the fault. The car now has to go back in.
This the first time I didn't see a member from the service team on arrival. When I phoned to check on it at 2-30pm I was told it was ready and had just been washed but when I went to pick it up at 4 it was not ready and had to wait nearly 20 minutes
Car in for a full service which was carried out to my satisfaction, however it was only 12 months and 9000 miles since my last service, so I was a little bit surprised to be told I needed a full service! Also, a visual inspection was apparently due!
They produced an excellent report on the condition of my car

Would have been 5 stars but I had to chase why my vehicle service hadn't been started an hour after I dropped it off and sat in the waiting area. Didn't receive the health check video detailing tyre tread depth and brake pad material thickness.
I pre-booked car. As I drive automatic, I expected you to have reserved one. No-one asked if I would be happy with a manual vehicle and in fact I may not have had a licence to do so!! Eventually, you offered an i3 automatic from used car section.
I was very pleased with the customer service advisor and the interaction I had with them, however my vehicle wasn't cleaned despite being told it had been, this has made me doubt the credibility of all the work now.
Happy with the service experience, but not very happy paying for it. When I purchased the car I was sold a service package by the salesman based upon what he told me i.e. first 3 services free for a fixed price.Turns out it was limited to 30,000 mile
Car was dropped off for recall on egr valve and returned to me same day. Unfortunately my personal settings .ie. phone ,mileage etc were deleted.
Efficient and courteous service
Very efficient and reassuring.
Waited in showroom whilst service was done and had plenty of refreshments and wi fi on hand. Also had problem with spotify not playing in car and my service consultant went out of his way to get this fixed for me.
Brake fluid service completed promptly while I waited and the car was thoroughly cleaned. However, a second visit was required at the start of the following month as the car was indicating that the service had not been carried out.
Always nice to be greeted at the door and, having a coffee whilst I waited plus, a biscuit...or two....

Efficiency of service
Your customer service needs to be improved. You don't call when you say you will, you don't know at what stage the car is at or where your staff are. You said that my car would be washed and cleaned and it hadn't.
The service receptionist Millie Pretty was both helpful & courteous & the only reason I haven't awarded 5 stars is because the car hadn't been washed, however when I pointed this out to Millie (the next day as I was in a bit of a rush) she apologized
I booked online for a recall. When I arrived I was told that the booking related to another vehicle - not mine. I then had to arrange another appointment.
Really good service . However the air con still makes a noise . Would be good if someone can contact me regarding this as the car is still under warranty

Offered the free brake check and complimentary car wash, bmw person gave me the price of approx £750 and assumed I would have work done. I said no as I thought excessive also the wash was appauling, very disappointed but is this because I said no??
The service agent professional and clear with his explanation
Staff are helpful and friendly and I have no issues or with the work carried out. However, a loan car is never available - Consequently I'm stuck in Solihull for 5 hours or have to spend £30 getting there and back in trains and taxis.

Ravi, the person who dealt with me, was very good, but let down by other departments.
My concerns were ignored and problems overlooked.
A fix that was supposed to take 1 hour took 4 hours and the sales person then told me afterwards that my car had just been sat there even though I had the first appointment of the day. This was after a week before it taking 2 & 1/2 hours to diagnose
They were ready and prepared for my arrival albeit the loan car wasn't sorted on arrival but they still managed to find suitable loan car
Whilst the diagnosis was carried thoroughly, I give one star for my experience and I now I have to pay myself for replacement of the wind screen. BMW Sytner seem to be least bothered. What a horrible customer service!!
Booked in for MOT and end of warranty check at agreed time. Had agreed to wait on site, advised it would take 1 1/2 hours. It took 2 and 1/2 hours. I advised the lady that this was excessive, and that this was poor work planning, & to pass this on.

A electrical issue meant the car needed a spare that after the mileage and time should not have failed even though the vehicle warranty had expired 9 months earlier. However a good will claim was approved paying 50 per cent towards the spare cost.

My car repair was free as BMW covered the cost however I was initially quoted c450 for the work only for me to speak to another BMW garage who advised me to go back to sytner solihull and ask them to see if BMW would be willing to contribute

I kept being put through to central bookings when calling Sytner Solihull for a quote to have rocker box cover gaskets replace on my E31 840. Central bookings were unable provide I never did get a call back from Sytner Solihull service rep.

The service I received from all staff was exceptionally good except for the ladies in the service department around 7:50am. One was rather offhand and disinterested in customers. Perhaps a little training would be useful.
No issues arose during this service, and (apart from a small delay when dropping off the car) I can't think of any area that could have been significantly improved.
