Sytner Solihull from end to end are exception in every way.
When contacted by you, I was assured task would take no longer than 90 minutes; I specifically asked about timing as had previously had poor service in this respect. Arrived before 10:00; car returned to me at approx 12:20 but only after complaint.
Always have great service at sytner in solihull .
Booked a 90 minute 'while you wait' MOT but it took almost 4 hours.
Failure to deliver on promises made. Asked if I wanted car valeted after MOT, I said yes. Came to collect car at agreed time and it had not even been superficially washed. Same had happened previous year.

This is the firt time I had a bad experience but it was bad enough to rate 1 star. I expect after paying over £500 to have exemplary quality control. Not this time. Very upset.
The service on my car delayed but I was told and I accepted it would be ready for the day after. I called up the next day waited 3+hrs only to be told the car wouldn't be ready til the following Monday wigich threw my plans the weekend in the air.
Replacement of new automatic gearbox was carried out without any problems but trying to speak to someone is infuriatingly difficult and I am getting totally exasperated at the lack of response Not enough characters so see next section

Everything that should have happened, did.
I had 4 tyres replaced , next day one tyre was completely flat , this could have cause a serious accident ..as iam travelling to Spain in next few days.
Customer service was good , your well looked after when visiting the branch.

The personnel at the service desk was very good. Unfortunately the problem with the car was not rectified. Such as brake noise, twice I informed about the brake noise but both times I was informed that there was no problem. The noise still exists
The service was fine and covered on my contract. The car wash and vacuum was poor with visible dirt still on the car and wheels. I would have expected better from a premium brand.
Poor customer service and lack of communication.
The body work was not checked.I spotted 2 new scratches on the car front bumper of which one was fixed.Other was spotted after reaching home,as I was in a hurry to get to work.After the service the car seems a bit rough and not very smooth as earlier
MOT was done on time and was kept in touch with the progress while I waited.

No courtesy car
Lack of communication regarding expected numbers at collection time was poor resulting in a normal 5 min collection being a) delayed by 30 mins b) rushed (although courteous) A one off I would agree, but something that could have been managed better

Looked after well whilst I waited, car was checked over & returned at exactly the time they said it would be ready, even received a video of my car on the ramp before I left the showroom
The work was done as planned but not in the timescale I had asked for. Parking my car on arrival was extremely difficult and I had to drive round car park a couple of times waiting for someone to leave a space.
booked my car into your garage with plenty of notice and the service wasn't great, I didn't get a call regarding my car to say what was wrong with it or if it was even ready, I chased in the afternoon with a promise of a call back and I didn't !

Car was booked in for 90 mins while u wait service and MOT - not sufficient time and car kept overnight although that wasn't the main problem as my car wasn't valeted despite my request, Sytner were apologetic but.....
had to wait a while (15 minutes or so) at drop off and collection. thought the person who I met at drop off was not very customer focused.
Even though they were extremely busy (because of a recall) they looked after me. Lewis was more than helpful as well.

The car was being fixed for a recall on its starter motor and software. However it wasn't until I got home tha I realised that all my settings had been erased, no one told me this was going to happen. This included my phone

Lewis was very professional and relaxed about the sale. He was attentive at all times and was able to answer any questions that were put to him. It was a pleasure to deal with him.
The quality of the service and work of the engineers carrying out the service was excellent however my experience in the showroom was not and I had to wait for a long time to be seen and then everything felt very rushed.

As mentioned, I was not welcomed by Mark the service advisor. The day my car was due to be picked up I had to communication from him, I chased this up twice on the day to which I was told I would receive a call.
Service not carried out - just top up to fuel additive.
Service staff extremely helpful staff gladly answering all queries and service with a smile. My only gripe was that someone in the body shop failed to return my 'phone call and I had to ring again the next day.

For jobs where you have opted to wait for your vehicle, the time can be significant ... in my case up to 2 hours. This is difficult for BMW, but maybe there needs to be some innovative thought given to how to entertain/occupy the customer ...
I'd booked a "waiting" appointment, as you don't pick up from home anymore. I waited for nearly 3 hours and was late for an appointment, as I'd been told by the advisor it would be only 2 hours. Not happy.
Dealt with Yasmin holmes, Millie Pretty and Nigel who were very informative and great to deal with. Always kept me updated and informed. Nigel was brilliant in diagnosing the fault and repairing it, was very happy with the service provided by all 3.
As well as a routine service, there was outstanding warranty work required on the car. I had been told parts would be ordered however this didn't happen meaning another visit. The courtesy car waiting times are too long and insurance costs annoying.
Job carried out with minimum fuss.
I found a broken wheel arch liner a few days after collecting the vehicle and there were no arguments over it's replacement. I also found that a rear carpet mat was missing and a new one was quickly provided.

Found a scratch in my rear wheel and a scratch on the pasenger seat, I can't prove it but I am sure they weren't there before it went in. Also had my autoglym done again as it wasn't done correctly when purchased. I have had no registration card!
Service department excellent.
I was not happy with the condition it was returned to me...it may be the garage thst toed my car to bmw...they left a large print of details of my cars in crayons written on my front windscreen...I was unable to take off.. it damaged the wipers
Fairly satisfied. The standard of the car cleaning has reduced in the last two visits. Seats not hoovered. Carpets not hoovered properly

The follow up from the service manager was less than professional. He was too busy to be curteous to the point of being rude he agreed eventually to take my claim to BMW. I had to follow up a full 8 days later as they'd not done it. Disappointing

Steve Murphy was very good and helpful and all his paperwork was completed very efficiently. Finance paperwork provided by other members of the team took 3 goes to get right & led to delays on the day of collection which could have been avoided
Sounder full staff
The salesman (Lewis) was extremely friendly and courteous. Answered every question and was very professional.
We were kept informed every step of the way and were sent photos when the car arrived at Solihull which was a really nice touch. The sales assistant, Jason was excellent.
