I have never had a poor service interaction in Sytner. This car purchase was no exception - an excellent experience with dealings throughout the whole process that were positive and rewarding.
Did everything I asked for but changed all of my radio/sat nav settings which I didn't discover until I was on the way to a completely new destination. Spoken instructions had been disabled and I have no instruction booklet for the entertainment.
Car was washed and vacuumed apparently but definitely to a very poor standard. Plenty of sand grit left on drivers mate or close by. 3 inches of dirt still remained on bottom of boot lid on both sides???
Highly satisfied with the reception and help given in all respects

I was booked in for a waiting appointment but was incorrectly advised of the estimated time when booking. This did not become apparent until I dropped the car off. I then had to get a taxi home to attend tip the school run and get a lift back later.
Our service advisor was Sammy Bailey and she was outstanding with her service. It is evident she is very knowledgeable and confident regarding her job. Everything that we asked for was 100% done when we collected the car.
I like to deal with one person on service reception. Was not given the opportunity on this occasion

The MOT for which the car was sent in for as well as the servicing was not completed when I arrived to collect the car, so I had to wait for it to be done, despite having been told on the phone that everything was completed
Service department poor. 4 hour wait for MOT, told numerous times shouldn't be long now. Got back to vehicle, service warning still ongoing, service reset this but brush past complaint asking whether end of warranty vehicle inspection actually done?

Came as a surprise to me that I had to pay for the brake fluid replacement. When I took out the 5 year service pack in November 2014 I was told it covered everything. Clearly not.

Waiting time was longer then expected/informed.
An EDR recall after which the car was washed. On completion, I noticed that the wheels were dirty and that the car had spots all over it. Car returned for cleaning correction. I waited almost an hour for a resolution and an apology.
It would be useful to have an overview description of what the purposes of the service was together with say an explanation of what the tyre tread depths represented in terms of tyre life.
Despite booking an office to work in it was not available
The problem with my car was correctly diagnosed and repaired in one visit. An illegal tyre was reported to me and replaced the same day at a reasonably competitive price. Phone calls were answered or returned.
Issue still remained, staff failed to take on board the issue that I addressed and carried out work that was not necessary.
I was expecting a video check up which I didn't get. Maybe the place was too busy.

1. Having booked my 'anniversary check', I arrived at the dealership to be greeted by a lady with a clipboard. She had no details of my booking and therefore I felt as if I'd arrived on the wrong day! Eventually, she said my booking was today.

The Service Indicators were not reset and part of the service was not included on the automated log. This meant that I have to take the car back to the dealership.
Car drives better service time was ok and had it returned cleaned. Only issue is the branch isvery far for me. Would be nice if u had the collection and drop off service available again helps customers like me with kids as it can be inconvenience

The difference between a major and normal service is a matter of a few filters. As I have been in the automotive supply chain for most of my working life, I know what these cost. The difference is a few pounds, yet you charge hundreds more.

Solihull organised a courtesy car at late notice & kept me informed at all times. Only issue which is really inconvenient is the closing down of Birmingham's BMW centre. If I couldn't get a courtesy car I would have been stuck in Solihull.
Initially I was totally dissatisfied as Autoglym treatment had clearly not been applied (accepted by BMW) even though charged for £350! After lengthy complaint it was done with video witnessing. Blame put on sub contractors. No Quality checks evident

MOT was carried out in the specified time specified and Vehicle Health Check report raised awareness of issues .
I was advised that my car required a vehicle check. M220d which was recalled approx 1 month ago, whereby it had a vehicle check, therefore it was required again. Checked on your website cost of vehicle checks are included in service pack

My contact Millie has been excellent on the two occasions I've had need to visit Sytner Solihull. Good customer service does make a difference especially in a market where there is a lot of choice and tempting deals. For me it's a differentiator.
In terms of service then Andy at Sytner was fantastic and the staff are always great. But he told me at my recent visit that my service in May wasn't the correct service & I needed to pay £80 more to get the 'proper' one - a v confusing experience.

They did a good job in fixing my issue however i notice some white scruff marks near my gearbox console. It looked like dried paint, i was able to remove it but it was worrying that it couldve been a permanent stain left by the technician.

The car has now a new problem since the service and it is difficult to arrange a convenient appointment. I have to leave the car for the whole day and the waiting times for a courtesy car are 3-4 weeks I was told. Overall not satisfied.

I have always used Sytner Solihull for our servicing and occasional repairs. They offer efficiency and always a good customer expererience. Even when my Z4 had a recurring electrical problem, they persevered (as did I).

Overall experience was very bad.
I know its a silly thing and maybe its being female but I was a little disappointed no flowers, which I had received on purchasing other new cars in the past. It somehow downgraded the experience from being special.
